Principle Architect & Architect

Are you looking for your next Architect or Senior Architect role? This is a great opportunity to join a prestigious Architect practice that has 5 offices in the UK. They have recently celebrated their 50th anniversary and have actually grown by a third over the course of the pandemic. This is predominately due to their diverse sector range and having a very strong relationship with a renowned Logistics firm that operates in the UK and right across the globe. My client are now reaping the rewards, and capitalizing on this sector while it remains a very popular sector in the current climate.

They have made me aware of 2 positions they are looking to fill within their Birmingham office, where they are looking to appoint both a Principle Architect (minimum 3-5 years PQE) as well as a more junior Architect, and my client will consider any Architects that have a strong Revit / ArchiCAD background and you've recently qualified and got your charter-ship.

The main pre-requisite for these 2 positions, will be to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Revit (software that they use across all projects), and be able to translate working drawings from the office to the real life builds in the field.

My client isn't overly concerned about project familiarity, and whether or not you've worked on similar schemes that they specialize in (predominantly Logistics/ Residential in Birmingham).

Having the strong Revit skills will be the most standout skill set my client will be looking to for, and you will be required to compliment your CV with Technical samples of work and have used this software on live projects for at least 2- 3 years. Also, you won't necessarily need to be a typical senior candidate at the later stage of your career, my client is open to interviewing Architects at various levels as he doesn't want to be too specific with the brief, which could run the risk of them missing out on suitable candidates.

They are happy to look at Architects with circa 3-5 years post qualification experience, as a minimum for the principle Architect role and demonstrating a real passion for Architecture, and future long term thinking towards sustainable buildings will be beneficial in your application.

Having the right attitude and willingness to work in the Logistical sector will be key, and they are starting to incorporate more Residential schemes as they are aiming to not take on more than 40% of work from one particular sector - to hopefully give them a nice even spread across all the sectors they cover which include Education, Transport, Commercial, Retail, Offices and others.

Salary on offer for the Principle Architect, will range from £40 - 45,000 PA, and the more junior Architect position will range from circa £30 - 35,000 PA (Dependent on individual ability and experience).
