Project Architect

Looking for your next Architect position? One of my key clients have widened their brief to look at Project Architects, as well as strong Revit Technologists.

They are one of the longest established architectural Practices in the country, and are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic, confident, well-organised and committed Project Architect to join their Kettering team of 25 strong.

They work across an array of different projects, from large scale Residential schemes, through to Listed Grade II buildings and modern community projects. As a Architect joining, you will have exposure to all sectors and they encourage actively cross-training and getting you familiar to all sectors and stages of RIBA.

Role & Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive):

Working on the day-to-day delivery of projects in collaboration with the team. You must therefore be able to demonstrate strong capabilities across RIBA stages 0-7.
Production of planning and construction drawing packages - drawings, schedules and specifications.
Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, local planning authorities and building control.
Coordinating work by external consultants and internally with the rest of the team.
Working within project teams and independently, where required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Chartered Architect (ARB registered).
Minimum of 2-3 years post qualification experience.
Able to work on projects from inception to completion (RIBA stages 0-7).
Extensive experience in preparing planning and working drawing construction packages and good knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policy and quality standards.
Proven design and technical detailing capability, creativity and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
Proficient in Revit or other 3D BIM software i.e. ArchiCAD or Vectorworks

Salary on offer, will range from £38,000 - £42,000 PA, dependent on individual ability and experience.
