Project Architect

I'm currently assisting an AJ100 practice on the search for a Project Architect to work for their Kent office. This is a permanent position with a salary up to £40,000 pa.

This is an opportunity for you all-rounders out there, you'll be working on projects from initial concept stages through to completion so you'll need a proven track record of working across all RIBA stages with job running experience. This will be working alongside the client(s) so any experience of developing the design and working closely on site with them is essential. You'll be leading the briefing process and potentially manage a small team. Communication will need to be of a high standard as you'll be coordinating between various teams and office within the company.

There will be a high level of responsibility with certain aspects of the role which would include taking responsibility for the compilation of the planning application package and occasionally lead and coordinate the design team and ensure design is kept with clients budget.

This is to work within the residential and education sector so you'll need to be very comfortable with at least one of these. You'll need at least 5 years industry experience to be considered. ArchiCAD is the main software in use and it would be great if you were completely fluent with this however if not the company in question do provide training but you will need to be willing to cross train. With clear paths to progress within the company this could be an ideal position for an enthusiastic individual looking to increase their level of responsibilities over time.
