Project Architect

Are you a Project Architect within a commutable distance from Winchester? I'm currently working with an established practice in the area that could well be of interest. This is a permanent job with a salary circa £45,000 pa depending on experience.

With a fantastic array of projects within the high-end residential and conservation sectors you'll need to be very comfortable with working in at least one of these fields, more weight will likely be put on your experience within the high-end residential sector.

You'll be working within RIBA stages 2-6 so design input is an important aspect of this role. You're ability to communicate effectively with clients is also a must as you'll be assisting them throughout the planning process and beyond, site experience would be a huge benefit as would having the ability to drive. You're technical ability is an important aspect for this role as you'll be required to produce solid technical detailing packages and have a good understand of UK building regulations and contract administration. Many of the projects in question are complex so you'll need to have some experience with working on similar schemes.

As mentioned above the company in question have a strong background within the heritage and listed building sector however this is an exciting new venture for the company where you'll be joining a new team specialising on bespoke high-end properties in the South East. It would be beneficial to have an interest in conservation however the more important aspect of work will be on the high-end residential side of things.

ArchiCAD experience would be ideal, being the main software the company use. Don't let this deter you though as training will be provided where required.
