A top London Architectural firm is looking to appoint a BIM Coordinator who is also keen on being involved with the design.

With over 300 people they are now one of the leading British architectural practices with key clients and projects in all major sectors with a very established BIM team. The BIM Coordinator role is an existing key role within the practice. It requires extensive liaison with architectural teams, and other support departments to ensure they continue to implement BIM correctly and specifically that a BIM project is coordinated and managed as required.

The purpose of the role will be to assist in the delivery of a BIM project, ensuring that both as a practice we are providing the outputs required by the BEP and also interacting with consultants data to ensure coordination and investigating clash detection. This role will also involve practice development, assist with knowledge transfer to new and existing staff and developing and managing practise resources which support our projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project BIM Coordinator Role – Integrating directly into a live project team working on an exciting BIM scheme.
• Completing the BIM coordinator role on at least one live project
• Maintaining the projects BEP
• First contact for any BIM queries on the project.
• Performing Coordination and clash detection exercises on the project.
• Hosting BIM Coordination meetings for the project
