They now seek a talented and experienced Project Director who can help lead these projects, based in their Cambridge offices covering schemes across East Anglia and the Northern Home Counties.

As Project Director, you will be responsible for the delivery of major value construction schemes from £40m - £300m, from leading the project tender, through design to onsite delivery and soft landings. The Project Director will act as a leadership figure liaising directly with the client to ensure your team exceed their expectations in delivery of the project. You will be engaged on major multi-disciplinary projects, which cover the health, education, retail and general local authority sectors, heading up a senior core team and providing support where required to ensure that the project objectives are clear, communicated and delivered upon. The Project Director will be responsible for planning and developing courses of action that initiate and achieve substantial strategic changes or developments, exercising broad autonomy and judgement. You will initiate and lead complex tasks and processes, taking responsibility and being accountable for the work and roles of others.

Suitable applicants will need to have:

  • Significant major construction project leadership experience, on behalf of a Tier 1 main contractor, either as a Senior Project Manager / Project Leader / Project Director or equivalent
  • Expert knowledge, skill and experience in leading projects from £40m - £300m.
  • Must have personally handled all aspects in considerable depth
  • Professional Membership Standard Fellow / Certified Member

Based out of the company’s prestigious contemporary offices in Cambridge, the role will be working on schemes across Cambridgeshire / Suffolk / Essex / Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
