Site Architect - Neg - Liverpool

Due to winning a high-profile healthcare competition in 2013 this major international architectural practice is urgently seeking an experienced Site Architect, who is based in the north west, to coordinate the construction stages of a large hospital project in Liverpool consisting of a 95,000 sq m acute hospital and ancillary facilities. The duration of this project will be from 2014 through to the Spring of 2017 so you will be based on site throughout this period with occasional travel to the London office.

The key responsibilities will include representing the practice while coordinating the design team, contractor, subcontractors and client, to successfully ensure the project’s scope; programme and budget are all achieved. The scale of this hugely exciting project will be challenging and requires comprehensive understanding of complex buildings and procurement of construction packages.
To be considered for this rather unique opportunity you must possess numerous years professional experience managing major construction projects, have a track record within the healthcare sector, proven ability working within large complex teams and have the ability to work remotely whilst managing a substantial design team.
The ability to travel to the site in Liverpool on a daily basis is essential as a relocation/expenses package is unfortunately not available.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated and experienced Site Architect who comes with a proven reputation within the UK healthcare sector who is looking for a major challenge!
