THE ROLE

We are seeking a GRADUATE TOWN PLANNER to join our client in their SHEFFIELD office.

You will work as a Planner in our client's strategic planning research unit which provides demographic and economic research to support planning applications and proposed allocations.

It also offers advice to developers and Local Planning Authorities with respect to the production of development plans.

THE CLIENT

Our client is a multi disciplinary firm of consultants offering a range of services along with a thriving town planning service working closely with clients in the private and public sectors.

They have a large number of offices across the U.K.

THE CANDIDATE

You will have a relevant Degree in Town Planning, Planning & Development, Urban Planning or similar.

The strategic planning research unit provides support and information for:-

Housing demand and need including Strategic Housing Market Assessments

Housing supply including 5 year housing land supply assessments.

Employment land demand and supply

Retail assessments and retail impact statements

Bespoke research commissions.

Good prospects for ambitious candidates.

You should have an interest for information and data analysis.

Salary in the range of £20000 negotiable plus benefits.
