An increase in workload following a series of successful bids has seen the requirement for an architectural technician to join their West Midlands office to work on residential and leisure projects from tender package through on-site delivery.

Client Details

Design lead practice working with a full and growing portfolio on a full complement of projects across various sectors in both the UK and overseas. They are consistent in ensuring a design and its evolution is monitored carefully throughout to ensure both design and structural integrity work together to achieve the final desired atmosphere and space.

They have a number of offices throughout the UK with exciting plans for further expansion still. Work is shared fluidly between all offices where their Strong network of Architects and Technicians work cohesively to examine the brief and developing buildings that create a positive impact in the communities they are intended for.

Description

You will be an instrumental part of the team, working predominantly on a residential lead mixed use scheme, taking the project forward across tender stages. Working closely with the Architect, you will then be involved in taking this project forward on site and ensuring smooth delivery overcoming any challenges as they present themselves.

Profile

To be successful, you will ideally have 3+ years' experience working on UK construction projects. You will be able to demonstrate in your portfolio a range and variety of projects that confirm a comprehensive understanding of construction and building types.

Competent use of AutoCAD is mandatory with Revit use being an advantage - if not full training on Revit will be given. You will be up to speed with UK planning laws and building regulations.

Most importantly, you take an interest in the built environment and enjoy working collaboratively to create solutions that fulfil the brief from a financial, aesthetic, practical and structural perspective.

Job Offer

Opportunity to work on some of the UK's most interesting projects and lead them through various stages, cradle to grave. Excellent time to join as they have gone from strength to strength and are showing no signs of stopping. Competitive salary with benefits.
