The Role
We are seeking a confident and highly skilled Architect with strong technical drawing expertise to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is heavily focused on the production of accurate, high-quality technical drawings and detailed design packages.

The successful candidate will work on projects across both London and the Cotswolds, gaining exposure to a diverse mix of urban and rural developments. We offer flexible working arrangements - candidates may choose to be based in our Cotswolds studio or work remotely, depending on preference and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce precise, high-quality technical drawings and construction packages
  • Develop detailed plans, sections, and specifications for planning and construction
  • Translate design concepts into clear, buildable information
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure technical accuracy
  • Ensure all drawings comply with UK building regulations and industry standards
  • Assist with project delivery from detailed design through to construction

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Architect with a strong technical focus
  • Exceptional drafting and detailing skills (this is essential)
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation (other software such as SketchUp and Adobe Suite beneficial)
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction detailing
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce work to a high standard under pressure
  • Confident, proactive, and able to work independently

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working on both residential and mixed-use projects
  • On-site experience and understanding of construction processes
