Looking to join a very reputable AJ100 practice that has over 10 offices across the UK, with a total of circa 200 staff? Across all their offices they are 200 staff and for their latest position, you'd be based within their 20 strong team in Birmingham.
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support function and ensuring the availability of all IT systems and services. You will maintain an intimate awareness of and understanding of all incidents and service requests. In addition, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in the management and delivery of IT services across the group, with a focus on end-user experience.
Day-to-day duties will include (but not limited to):-
• Manage the day-to-day operations of all infrastructure (on premise and Cloud hosted).
• Develop and maintain accurate capacity plans for the core IT Infrastructure.
• Proactive monitoring and maintenance, including upgrades and patching.
• Asset Management. Desktop & Application Management / Support
• Build and deploy application packages.
• Application deployment, patching and troubleshooting.
• Endpoint upgrades, patching and troubleshooting.
• New user on-boarding. Hardware Support
• Unbox, image, configure, test, and deploy laptops/workstations
• Asset Management. End User Support
• Day to day operation of the helpdesk in partnership with our managed service provider.
• Reporting and escalation.
• Change control
• Documentation and curation.
• Build a strong relationship with our directors to provide a friendly, proactive, and timely support service to answer questions and resolve issues.
Skills / Experience
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably with a background in professional services.
• Excellent people management skills.
• Experience of managing a small IT Team.
• Experience of working with and managing 3rd party IT services.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to evidence data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills • Solid organisational skills, including attention to detail, time management and multitasking.
• Security, Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001.
• Knowledge and experience of business-critical applications such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe CC would be beneficial
• Office 365, Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune / Autopilot.
• ITIL qualification desired.
• Full UK Driver’s License require
