I've just taken on a fantastic opportunity for a close-knit Architectural Practice based in Oxfordshire, this is a permanent position with a salary circa £30.000 pa depending on experience.
This is a perfect opportunity for a Part II Architectural Assistant who would like to train to their Part III. Having developed a number of individuals through this process in the past it's an ideal role to learn the tricks of the trade! You will work close to Project Architects and Architects initially to help build up to taking on your own projects.
The practice specialise within the high-end residential sector so you should have a portfolio that reflects this. Much of the work is based in Oxfordshire and the Home Counties so local knowledge would be a big plus. It would be preferable that you had a driving licence and a car however it's not a pre-requisite.
This is a design focused role and you'll largely be operating in RIBA stages 0-3. Experience with concept design would be ideal as would good visualization ability. On top of this you'll need sound knowledge of the planning process within the UK.
Revit is the main software in use however if you don't have the Revit experience but are willing to be trained then you'll still be considered. Experience with InDesign and SketchUp is also required.
