Revit Technologist (All levels considered)

Due to an increasing amount of Industrial workload, an exciting opportunity has arisen for any Architectural professional that has a strong Technical awareness and has at least 4-5 years working as a Technician / Technologist within a practice environment.

You will join an established and growing Architects practice that specialise in all things Industrial and one of the leading practices to work in this sector with offices in Manchester / London and Nottingham.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5-10 years industry experience with a track record and understanding of delivering high quality Architecture. In an ideal world, you will have familiarity with working on very large scale schemes that haven't necessarily got to be in the Industrial sector but similar large scheme would be advantageous, to at least have a degree of crossover knowledge that will ultimately mean less time for the Directors to get you trained up and comfortable on the Industrial / Distribution Centres/ Energy from waste type projects that is this organisations bread and butter.

You will be expected to provide strong construction drawing packages and be proficient when it comes to Revit. The one thing this team doesn't have the luxury of is time, and so are requiring technical savvy professionals that can come in and hit ground running with this software and can instantly jump on primarily stage 3-4 of their project life cycles, to help with their immediate technical detailing works which is the current priority for this team.

As a bare minimum requirement for any candidate at any level:

Maximum 40 minute commute to their Newark office (given their stance of full time office working)
Good (or better) working knowledge of AutoCAD and / or Revit.
Good quality of work demonstrated in a portfolio.

The candidate should be able to work work with enthusiasm and a hardworking attitude, while communicating within project teams and clients during all phases of each project. Key criteria you will be measured against include (but not limited to):-

Good (or better) working knowledge of Revit.
Beyond AutoCAD and Revit, a good working knowledge of: Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup and / or Enscape.
Job running experience.
Experience within the Industrial Sector.
Experience of Design & Build contracts.

Salary on offer will range from £30,000 - 50,000 PA for Junior Technician's up to Seniors. All applications will be reviewed and the salary will be based on individual ability and experience.
